The World Congress Subcommittee, chaired by Dr. Lata McGinn, worked between November 2014–December 2018 on the proposal for the World Confederation of CBT. The proposal was adopted by the World Congress Committee, which closed on January 6th 2019. The World Confederation of CBT (WCCBT) WCCBT was founded on the 7th January, 2019.
