Sarah EganAustralia

    Dr Egan is a senior research fellow and previous director of Clinical Psychology at Curtin University, Australia. Her main research interests are the understanding and cognitive-behavioural treatment (CBT) of clinical perfectionism across disorders, eating disorders, and obsessive compulsive disorder. The recipient of University awards for her high impact publications, Dr Egan serves on the editorial boards of several journals. Dr Egan has presented workshops and invited addresses throughout the world, and has published over 90 peer-reviewed journal articles, books and book chapters. She has worked as a clinical psychologist for over 19 years and is a Fellow of the Australian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (AACBT) in recognition of distinguished contribution to the advancement of CBT knowledge, practice and extraordinary contribution to the AACBT. Dr Egan has served continuously for 19 years on AACBT committees including as national president, and for 8 years as the chair of the World Congress of Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies (WCBCT). She has been the conference organizer and scientific chair for past AACBT conferences, and served on the organizing and advisory committees for numerous WCBCT conferences.
